Coraline Jones- The 'Other'

Coraline Jones, a young girl who moves into a new home, finds a door leading to no where. Or, at least that's the case for the first few chapters. Through curiosity and new adventures, Coraline must face her Other Mother, and the riddle of the three eyes, that once belonged to children such as her.
The Other Mother is an evil woman who wants nothing more than to be loved by a child. She seems to be afriad to let Coraline go. More like...she won't let coraline go.
Trapped in this other world that the other mother has made Coraline figures out pretty quicikcly what she must do to get back to her real parents.
So what's the meaning to this book?
Overall it is more about being happy with the parents you have, and that we shouldn't complain that our parents arent good enough. We shouldn't complain at all. Because when we get what we want, we realize we were happier with the way things were.
CHARACTERS
- Coraline= The main character of the book who is the heroine that’s curious, intelligent, and well spoken
- Coraline’s mother= The real mother that raised her and became to busy to spend anytime with Coraline
- Coraline’s father= The real father that also raised Coraline to be a curious explorer and became to busy to spend anytime with Coraline too.
- Coraline's other mother= The main evil character that try to take everything that’s important to Coraline and created this fake reality that Coraline was living in and created the fake people that were interacting with Coraline. But tricked and killed the other children that though she was their other mother to and was trying to trick Coraline the same way as them. She also, stole Coraline’s real parents away.
- Coraline’s other father= He is the fake father that was created by the other mother, he actually deeply cared for Coraline to save her from the evil other mother in that fake world.
- Black cat= The clever cat that guided Coraline and help her through her journey against the devilish other mother. BUt he became Coraline’s closes friends with.
- The old ladies= Their real names are April and Miriam and they live in the same apartment building with Coraline’s family and gave Coraline a small stone that gave her good luck and saved her through the battle against the other mother.
-Fake old ladies= They are the younger version of the two old ladies and perform shows for their dogs forever and was created by the other mother
- Mr. Bobo= The other resident that lives in the apartment and raising a rat circus up into his apartment
-Fake created Mr. Bobo= Was created by the other mother and he is mainly created by rats that like to snitch on Coraline.
- The three dead children= They were the children that was killed by the other mother and were trapped into little balls for eternity, until Coraline saved them and became friends in her dreams.
- The door is where everything takes place and it’s the door that control time and space into nothing between the two worlds
- The real world= The real world their is order and benefits and misperceptions about the world. But time moves on in this world and so does space.
-The fake world= This world is being created by the other mother who is makes a perfect world out of nothing. But in this world everything stay still forever.
